    How does Gmail discovery work if it's "zero knowledge"?

    Gmail discovery is designed to run on your device. OAuth tokens and inbox scanning for settlement-related signals are intended to stay in the local client, not uploaded to a central Oyster email archive. Oyster provides the automation; your phone does the sensitive work.

    What if I don't have a claim ID or notice?

    You can still file. Oyster includes a Master Search across active U.S. and Canadian class action settlements, so you are not stuck just because a mailer went missing. The Adaptive WebView helps you use official sites with alternate identifiers (address, VIN, and other admin-accepted fields) when the settlement allows, plus notice recovery and paper paths when a portal is strict.

    Is my data stored on your servers?

    Your Secrets Vault and core claim-filing data are designed to live in local AES-256 secure storage on your device, not in a centralized Oyster claims database.
